Boss farming
Every boss on one table, ranked by profit per hour. Entry costs and drop values use live prices from the trade site and the currency exchange. Drop chances come from poewiki community data.
- Black Star — No guaranteed unique. Every drop rolls on its own, so most kills give only embers and Eldritch currency.
- Catarina — One guaranteed unique, usually a cheap one. Most of the return comes from the side drops: Allflame Embers, Zorath's Eye and the 25% Veiled Exalted Orb.
- Cortex — One guaranteed unique, and 86% of the time it's Offering to the Serpent or Perepiteia. The rest of the value is the 9% Garb of the Ephemeral and the 5% Bottled Faith.
- Eater of Worlds — The guaranteed unique is almost always Inextricable Fate or The Gluttonous Tide. Melding of the Flesh is the 2% chase.
- Elder — Always drops one unique and one Uber Elder fragment (Terror or Emptiness). The fragment covers a good part of the entry by itself.
- Esh-Tul — Hivebrain Gland opens the fight. The guaranteed unique is mostly a Will jewel or Hand of the Lords; Uul-Netol's Vow is the 1% chase.
- Incarnation of Dread — Guaranteed unique plus a guaranteed astrolabe, a third of which are Templar. Wine of the Prophet is the 2% chase.
- Incarnation of Fear — Guaranteed unique plus a guaranteed astrolabe. Orb of Intention drops half the time.
- Incarnation of Neglect — Guaranteed unique plus a guaranteed astrolabe. Legacy of the Rose (2%) is the chase; Venarius' Astrolabe drops 10% of the time.
- Infinite Hunger — No guaranteed unique. Every drop rolls on its own, so most kills give only ichors and Eldritch currency.
- King in the Mists — One guaranteed unique. The Light of Meaning (20%) and The Burden of Shadows (5%) are the ones that matter, and Light of Meaning's price depends heavily on which variant drops.
- Maven — One guaranteed unique; Echoforge at 1% is the chase. Orb of Conflict drops about a third of the time.
- Oshabi — Always drops a Sacred Crystallised Lifeforce on top of the unique. The unique is Forbidden Shako half the time.
- Searing Exarch — The guaranteed unique is almost always Dawnbreaker or Dawnstrider. Dissolution of the Flesh is the 2% chase.
- Shaper — Always drops one unique and one Uber Elder fragment (Shape or Knowledge). Like the Elder, the fragment pays for a good part of the entry.
- Sirus — One guaranteed unique. Thread of Hope is the 5% chase; the rest are cheap.
- Uber Atziri — Four Mortal fragments to enter. Atziri's Splendour and The Vertex make up 82% of the uniques, and Splendour's price depends heavily on which variant drops.
- Uber Dread — Four Reverent Fragments to enter. Guaranteed unique plus a guaranteed astrolabe, like the normal version.
- Uber Eater — Four Devouring Fragments to enter. Ravenous Passion or Ashes of the Stars almost every time; Nimis is the 2% chase.
- Uber Elder — Shaper and Elder fragments to enter. Mark of the Shaper or Mark of the Elder 70% of the time.

- Uber Maven — Four Reality Fragments to enter. Impossible Escape drops about a third of the time and is the main source of value.
- Uber Neglect — Four Lonely Fragments to enter. Guaranteed unique plus a guaranteed astrolabe.
- Uber Shaper — Four Cosmic Fragments to enter. Always drops an Uber Elder fragment on top of the unique.
- Uber Sirus — Four Awakening Fragments to enter. Thread of Hope is the most common unique; The Saviour (1%) is the chase.
- Uber Uber Elder — Four Decaying Fragments to enter. Call of the Void almost half the time.
How the numbers work
- EV per run: each drop's chance times its price, added up. In pools where exactly one item drops, the chances add up to 100%.
- Profit per run: EV minus the entry cost.
- Profit per hour: profit per run times runs per hour. One run is your kill time plus load time.
- Chance to profit: the share of 5,000 simulated runs where the loot is worth more than the entry.
- Drops with fewer listings than your minimum count as 0 unless you set their price.
- Your prices, kill times and profiles are saved in this browser only.
Reading the table
Each row is one boss. Entry cost is the price of the items you use to fight it once, usually fragments or invitations. EV per run is the average value of the drops. Profit per run is EV minus entry cost, and profit per hour is profit per run times how many runs fit in an hour, where one run is your kill time plus load time.
Click any column header to sort. Enter your own kill time in the Kill time column: a fast kill on a cheaper boss can earn more per hour than a slow kill on an expensive one.
Chance to profit
Many bosses get most of their EV from one rare drop. Chance to profit is the share of 5,000 simulated runs where the loot is worth more than the entry, so a boss with a high EV and a low chance to profit can lose money for many runs before the big drop. With a small budget, a higher chance to profit is safer than a slightly higher EV.
